Local Highlight #1 - The Oasis

Today we are excited to introduce the first of our local highlight series that features the best things to do and places to go in Miami brought to you by our very own Miami local residents.

The Oasis is Miami’s hottest new outdoor experience in Wynwood right off of NW Miami Ave and 23 street. It’s 35,000 square feet of chill vibes with great music plus an outdoor Tower Bar, painted by Spanish artist @antonyomarest, that can be seen over the Wynwood skyline. You read that right, a tower bar that matches the colorful Miami nightlife!

The main entrance is lined with neon lights spelling out The Oasis. As you make your way to the entrance, you are met with a path lined by whimsical trees creating an interesting juxtaposition between artsy Wynwood and posh South Beach.

Obviously the first thing to check for is the bar, but you’ll quickly get a glimpse of the 6 restaurants that are exclusively curated for this venue. Our recommendation is to get a taste of each from tacos from Los Buenos, dumplings from Buya, pizza from Prince Street, the mint lemonade from Mr. Mandolin but you can’t go wrong with Chikin or Alidoro. If you’re not into the outdoor ambiance there is also indoor seating at Huacachina.

In my honest opinion though, outdoor is where the fun is. You’ll definitely want to get a view of the stage for the live performances and events The Oasis hosts on a weekly basis. Most recently Shay Mitchell raved about the food on her IG right before guest performer Ludacris jumped on stage, and less than one week later latin sensation Rauw Alejandro headlined for the official opening.

Pro tip, the crowds are lacking during the week but if you’re interested in a nightcap make your way there early. The Oasis has been known to have lines for only being open less than a month.
