The 4th of July long weekend is just around the corner and everyone knows that the main event are always the fireworks. Where better to celebrate Independence Day and watch an illuminating display of lights and fireworks than in the beautiful city of Miami? In this post, we’ve highlighted events happening in Miami where you can celebrate the 4th of July in style this long weekend and where you can catch the fireworks.

UPDATE: This year, some cities (Miami Beach being one of them) in Miami-Dade have cancelled their annual fireworks show out of respect for the victims of the collapsed condo building in Surfside and their families. Holiday festivities in other parts of Miami-Dade County have also been scaled back citing the pandemic and Miami’s lagging vaccination rate as the main reasons.

This July 4th they’re going to be providing good vibes and great eats all day at The Pool at Strawberry Moon with sounds from Ruen and Nikolas.

Strawberry Moon is a new contemporary, high-energy Mediterranean restaurant, bar, and day-to-night swim club, tucked above the busy streets of South Beach at the newly opened Goodtime Hotel. Named for the last full lunar evening of Spring — on which the moon glints with a roseate hue — Strawberry Moon ultimately captures a unique Miami cross section of the happy, the hedonistic and the healthy.

Created by David Grutman and Pharrell Williams, Strawberry Moon is a highly sociable — and spacious — food-and-beverage concept, dappled in Deco pinks, lagoon blues and palm greens. From the enclosed restaurant area, to the covered dining terrace, to the expansive outdoor deck, the space flows seamlessly from indoor parlor to outdoor pool-scape.

Ultimately, Strawberry Moon promises a tropical trinity of the experiential: exceptional food, exceptional drink, and an exceptional visit.
